    The rope work balances the sporran nicely. Nicely done. I really appreciate gear with personal touches like that...outside the norm.

    ok, finally got a pair of black boots, and wove a sporran strap out of black and white para cord so here are the pics



    here's showing the new strap

    Looks okay to me. The shirt may be a bit too busy(just my personal taste), but if you like it then wear it. It could be the picture quality too.

    The paracord sporran strap is a pretty good idea. I might try that.

    Wear it around and see how you like it. Let us know how it goes!

    Very good work. I like the knot button on yours. It stands out better than the knot I used for mine.

    I appreciate your effort and it looks OK, however personally I would not think it would show too much class with a full dress outfit. A sports or hiking and a utility kilt then it would look just fine.

    for the button, I used a monkey's fist tied around an overhand knot on one end.
    This sporran I made for the times I wear my sport kilt into the woods for a weekend every now and then, or when ever else I don't want to risk messing up a leather one.
