My son took first place in a kilt contest
My son and I competed in and took the top two spots of a local kilt contest. It was the fourth annual "Best Legs In a Kilt" contest held by the one Celtic shop in Tucson, Flanagan's Celtic Corner. There were other Xmarker's there and it was a lot of fun. The previous three contests had been won by KiltedFirePiper. My son wore a Stillwater Wallace youth kilt with a shirt, tie, and vest. He presented each of the three female judges with a pink rose when his number was called. He did great and showed a lot of personality. Here is a picture of him with his first prize gift certificate and the gold ribbon.

I also had my wife take a picture of both of us together, me with my silver ribbon for second place. I wore my Ancient MacDonald Clanranald from Tartanweb, along with a shirt, tie, waistcoat, and my Wyvern Leatherworks sporran (which is the best sporran I have ever owned).
