These pictures were taken back in March, but for one reason or another I have not got around to posting them. I took them the day my first kilt arrived.
It is a four-yard kilt in the Mighty Men tartan from Tartans4Africa, woven in Cape Town in 13oz polyviscose.
It was made in Ekurhuleni (previously called the East Rand) in Gauteng Province by Egbert Harmse, who operates under the name Cargokilts.
The parcel:
The kilt in its wrappings:
The tie and garters:
The kilt folded up, and opened out:
I wear this kilt with a variety of outfits, but the only picture of me in it so far is on the Welsh Rugby Scarf thread: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...ml#post1027474

Mike
