Good cheer this solstice
Greetings all, Just a quick post to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. Tonight is the celebration I look forward to, Winter Solstice. Each solstice has a meaning and winter is the time when we have long cold nights to catch up and reflect on our lives. As the days eventually lengthen we look to the spring equinox and plan our gardens and fields. In winter you can sit bundled up with your loved one/ones and read, talk and do many things you may not take the time for when the days are longer. Winter also lends itself to some wonderful moonlit hikes and runs in the snow. Tonight I will share a dram or two from my quaich with my girlfriend and celebrate the solstice our time together.
To all who celebrate the traditional holidays I want to wish you a Happy Hanukkah, a very Merry Christmas, a Joyous Kwanzaa and a Glorious New Year.
Have a safe and Joyous Winter Solstice one and all

Tonights Dram of good Edradour for New Years it will be mulled wine, Wassail and also good scotch.
