Night out
My wife and I were at a wedding reception last night. I wore my MacNeil tartan kilt, white shirt, tie and jacket. The bride loved it, said I clean up real nice I was the subject of more snapshots than the bride and groom I think and I sure got plenty of attention. Of course, there's always one in the crowd. Guy was wearing jeans and a flannel shirt with sports shoes. The guy asked me who I was trying to impress and I responded by saying it was a special occasion for the newlyweds and anyone with the slightest upbringing would dress up some, not like they were going to work. He avoided me the rest of the evening Over all the kilt was a hit with the ladies and my poor feet got a workout on the dance floor. Imagine dancing to country-western music in a kilt. No kilt checks, but lots of the ladies asked about what's worn under the kilt. My wife thought the whole thing was amusing and she had a great time as did I.
