Kilted Snow Removal
It snowed yesterday and last night, but only about 3 inch accumulation this time in SW Michigan. Today dawned bright and clear with no wind, although the temp was only about 20 degrees F. at 1000 am.
When I left my last job in Germany to retire, the folks there took up a collection and asked me what I would like. I said I was going to purchase a snowblower and used the money to purchase the beast shown here.

One of the guys said he would like to see me in a kiilt removing snow so today I put on my PV Hay Ancient and went outside. With no wind and a lot of sun, I was quite comfortable, but I don't think it will be my regular mode of dress when the wind is blowing the snow back into my face!
I live about 20 miles east of Lake Michigan and I'm told we can expect lake effect snow falls to be significant (12 to 20 inches). I think my new toy can handle it.
Regards,
Tom
