Pondering Adding a Front Apron Pocket: Contemporary Canvas
Has anyone ever put a pocket, somewhat like the back pocket of jeans or the pockets on the legs of cargo shorts, on the front apron of a contemporary kilt down in the corner around where the kilt pin might be worn? My apron is wide like a traditional kilt apron.
In other threads, I had been considering adding a strip of bias tape, sewn into a tube, to the bottom area of my canvas kilt to hold the giant safety pin I like to use as a kilt pin, but the pockets on cargo shorts keep popping into my mind when I try to envision it.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
