Thought I do a quick Dry Run for St.Pats this year. The kilt had fallen off it's hooks in the wardrobe and was crumbled up in the bottom of the suit hanger. So some ironing required on the apron!

The hose I'm wearing have shrunk, but I have a nice new pair ready and waiting. The shoelaces broke, so that's another thing to be sorted before the big day! I think its a good idea to do a Dry Run, rather than flapping around all stressed on Paddy's morning.

I thought I'd skip the tie this year, I get these polo's from a sport shop. They sell them as ski wear and I must say, they look pretty sharp and a lot more comfortable than a tie and shirt.

I do like to do the full-monty Argyll and tie, but I generally like the casual day wear look a lot more. I invested in some easy hang sporran chains from bauhausboy on ebay last year...I love them! I always found the traditional chains show the beer gut a bit more.

The wife joined in for the fun....
