Well the kilt arrived on thursday and this weekend has been pretty much kilted all the way. It's an 8yd pv kingussie in MacLeod of Harris with one special requested feature.

Here's some pics.

This is the pleats centered on a red stripe and pleated to no stripe to show the green and black.

This is me headed out to the beeyard.

Walking back.

My wee lass and helper, Serah Ruth. The red and black are the colors of my usual work uniform and all she will wear at her request. She will let you know that she's a daddy's girl. I wonder how long before she asks for a kilt of her own?

The missus tried to kilt check me! I learned something this weekend about kilts from her. If this keeps up I'll either sue her for harrassment or Serah might have a little brother, I'll let you know.

Lighting the smoker. Really smashing looking fellow if I must say so. I must because no one else will. ;)

A little pleat action.

A few of me working the bees. Seriously, this is how I really do it. I don't wear the veil or gloves unless the ladies absolutely make me do so.
