Those type shirts are very common down here, especially as you get closer to the coast. People love these shirts for offshore fishing. It used to be that if you saw someone wearing one, you just assumed they were going fishing. But they've really gained popularity in the last few years for everything else too, since they allow sweat to evaporate away quickly. I even see people wearing them to work.
I have several shirts like that (both short-sleeve and long-sleeve). Some came from Academy or Bass Pro Shops. This particular one came from Gibson's, but the brand name is Game Guard. It's one of their microfiber shirts. They're not cheap, but they work well in the heat!
Where did you get the sporran?
I made that one a few years ago.
