I need to find more occasions to wear my Armstrong tartan trousers this fall. I've worn them in the past with black barathea jacket and a dark navy blue jacket. I keep intending to pair a tweed jacket with them but have not found the right occasion to thus far.
Reasons. Hmmmm. Well, you get up in the morning and society frowns on your going out in your underpants. So there's reason enough to wear the trousers. Now, let's see. You live in the mountains of North Carolina. And it gets pretty chilly there in the Fall. There's your reason for wearing a tweed jacket. Problem solved.
