Kilted Friday!

Went to deliver some chairs to a woman who bought them online from me. She asked about my kilt and if I was wearing it for the whole month. I told her I wear it 2-3 times a week. She then mentioned a friend of hers is a police officer and is participating in Kilted to Kick Cancer. Did an XMarks search and found this thread....great to raise awareness of prostate cancer, much as MLB does during Father's day weekend at the ball yard.

Then off for coffee and a quick look around an antique store nearby.

After that, went out to several thrift stores in search of Harris tweed jackets and found several, unfortunately none in my size. Third time I've run across an Orvis branded HT jacket in the last week. These guys were all just too small! Did find my son a nice viyella shirt in a green generic tartan. About $100 at Orvis. $2.99 at Salvation army on sale day! (50% off $5.99)
