Help from Shaw's in Texas

Will, Shaws are not the most common folk to track down in the US. Believe me, I know. My dad's Mum was a Shaw (born in Kentucky). These mountain folk often left no birth or death records in some places.

I know that you are in Texas but truthfully in America the early lines sometimes dead-end. It's kind of funny how our ancestors often thought that they were giving their progeny a better life...but then were forgotten and disappeared from our recollection within a few generations. Sometimes they didn't want to be found, especially in places like, for example, Texas or Arizona during their early history. The freedom and anonymity is what drew folks to many of these far-flung and out-ofthe-way places...not the weather.
