Paying It Forward....Year 2
Last year our own CDN Sushi (Jim Dunlop) started a thread in which in recognition of the gratitude for what we have and sharing that with others perhaps less gifted, (those are my words not his, so any error is mine alone), he offered a kilt which then grew into contributions from many others. I myself have had a tumultuous year. I was working graveyard shift which caused a huge disruption to family life and placed burdens on my wife. At times it seemed inescapable, but I had to help pay the bills. Fortunately, I found another job and life at home has improved. I am extremely grateful.
Therefore I would like to offer to someone who is without the means to afford a kilt or enduring a financial hardship, a custom made kilt from Jeanie Davan of AltKilt. This is a wonderful kilt and not something worn or out of disfavor; something that gives me pleasure in gifting. It is a modern kilt worn at the pant waist and is a 36" waist 21.5" length 41" hips it is made from a heavy durable forest green twill and includes dual cargo pockets and 3" belt loops. I do not have a pic readily available but it is this model (albeit in forest green) : http://www.altkilt.com/classic and brass buttons.
If you are interested please write a brief note of explanation in a PM. I would ask that you please be willing to pay the nominal shipping charges which is around $13 Priority Mail in the US.
Thank You
