Looking through the past articles, I am not seeing my answer, so bear with me if I am asking a already discussed question.

Can anyone point me to patterns or explanations on how to build a historic sporran? I am specifically interested in the late 18th to early 19th century. I especially like some of the sporrans illustrated on the paintings of Allen such as the Wedding at Blair Atholl (the dancing gent with the trews for example).
