    Happy Days Are here Again

I have just received a email from Matt advising that he has started my 6 yard knife pleat in the Australian tartan. He provided some photos for me to drool over.

Some may notice that the blue stripe is darker than the Australian tartan shown in another thread on this forum. This was done at my request as I felt the lighter blue would not be distinguishable enough from the white stripe when the kilt is being pleated to the alternating blue/white stripe. Tartan woven by D C Dalgliesh.

Details of the tartan from the Scottish Register of Tartans can be found here http://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/tar...s.aspx?ref=141
