The Good and The Better
Hell-o all,
I have been wearing a Kilt for 14 years now and for the most part it has been a full time endeavor. I love it!
Granted I have gotten some rude remarks but those have been few and far between, and they are usually from someone who has been a bit tipsy, or are from people trying to be cute. Yet it seems for every bad remark I get, more than 20 positives it seems to be flowing.
I have had many a humorous encounter in the positive and some of those have been embarrassing to those who have given the positive. Case in point, this was many years ago, but I shall remember it fondly. I was downtown waiting to cross the street on the walk sign, when a car with two lovely ladies in it slowed down enough to give me some thumbs up and kudos all the way around. All I could do was smile and wave. Well they turned the corner in their car as they were continuing to give me accolades and sadly did not see the car coming towards them. Yes a fender bender occurred and luckily no one was hurt. I felt sorry for them, I really did.
