Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival, Bethlehem, PA

The Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was a really outstanding event; the weather was perfect, the athletes, dancers and bands were great and the beer was cold. I had a chance to meet Rocky at his, very busy, USA Kilts booth. A fellow X-Marks named, John, spotted my dandelion and stopped and chatted for a bitt. This was the first time that Susan and I have attended this event and though we live 3 hours away, we met with some relatives of mine, the Rae's (MacRae Clan) who live near the event and had a truly wonderful time. I'm sorry we missed visiting with Bonnie Heather Greene (the maker of my kilt) but, I understand that she won a medal in one of the dancing events. Congratulations Bonnie. Attached are a few odd photos that I took.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle.
