Australia tartan in Launceston

Hi all,
Been a while since I posted last. Have been busy earning a living and similar banal activities.
We popped down to Tasmania for a conference, and although I hardly need an excuse, it seemed like a great opportunity to give the kilt an airing.
It was a fresh evening, and so the scarf was being used as intended, but as we came into dinner the temperature went up about 20 degrees. My lovely lady tucked it under my epaulette; I began to object it was a scarf and not a fly plaid, but then remembered the most important axiom "happy wife, happy life". And so the scarf stayed where she put it.
Interestingly, as we toured around the island state, we found a shop selling 'Tasmania' tartan. A quite attractive grey and red combination. I resisted the urge to buy, but not without difficulty.
All the best,
John
