Waterloo era 92nd (Gordon Highlanders) Outfit
Came across this reference to an outfit in the National Army Museum:
Uniform of 92nd Regiment of Foot, 1815 (c); worn by Lt John Bramwell who served with the regiment 1813-1817; items include a coatee, kilt, plaid, sporran, shako, breeches, three shirts a shoulder belt, a valise and a book of standing orders.
I'd heard that they had an old Gordons' outfit, certainly much older than anything at the Regimental Museum, but have never seen any pics. Only two items are available online - the sporran and Shako, so it'll need to be a visit to London to examine the kilt. Ironicaly, I'll be there tomorow for a meeting but as luck would have it, the NAM is closed until 2016 for renovation.
