Traditional Highland Wedding Attire?

Here you go Colin, better late than never and not a very clear picture I am afraid, pictures of pictures never are in my clumsy photographic experience. As I said in one of my earlier posts here, I would have worn my tweed argyll, but my son's dog added his input to the proceedings! In case you might be wondering. Is that a hint of a plaid over my left shoulder? No, perish the thought, its a "button hole" of white heather.

Thanks, Jock, for taking the time to get a photo of that photo and to post it! It's nice to see the leather buttons on your black barathea Argyll, which, to my eye, do a good job of toning down the formality a wee bit.

Now that I've had so many great responses from people about what they have done (or would do) at weddings, I think it's just about time to start a new thread for what I'm planning on doing for my nuptials... I just need to get a few items of kit tuned up first!
