Is this Sporran too formal for daily/casual wear?

It looks to me like a fairly-traditionally sporran, however, I find that there are exceptions to almost every kilt-wearing rule.

I like that the sporran's black-background matches the color of the jacket, as well as the boots, in my opinion at least. The white tassels do stand out to me, but not necessarily in a good or a bad way. :-)
