RE: The back apron.
In use the bad is that the back apron doesn't display that "moving ripple action" of a knife pleat. It breaks it up worse than the Utilkilt Reverse Kinguesse (sp) center pleat.
The good is that you aren't sitting on hardly any pleats. Thus the pleat "rump press" doesn't happen and it is more comfy to your rear over a long drive.
This pleating system is anything but conventional, but seems to work pretty good - With or without the cargo pockets attached.
