Can I wear a kilt with a moon boot

Looking for help here, I broke my leg a few weeks ago, later this week, the plaster cast comes off and I will be given a moon boot to wear for the next few weeks.
Now I'm off on a cruise at the end of the month where there is four formal nights over the two weeks. I always wear my kilt on these formal nights but can any member advise me whether I can be kilted with a moon boot on and not look ridiculous
I would be grateful for your advice here.
