New kilt! Bad photo!
So this arrived today. It's an 8-yd in 'The Skirl' tartan from the Mediumweight Hebridean Tartans range by House of Edgar. Made for me by Lynne Ward of Ward Kilts/Tartan Couture.

This is actually the first made to measure tartan kilt I have ever owned. I've had two 'off the rack' in Royal Stewart (total crap- long gone, but it was my first) and one off the rack in Saffron, but the rest have been either been tweed or Utilikilts/utility style.
So While I was going more traditional this time, I still wanted it to be a quirky. Some of the features:
-Three straps in different leather - brown, grey, and blue, and straps attached with grey wool.
-Binding in grey wool and the fringe is grey and what I would call dusty pink.

As for the selfie, well I really did my back in yesterday and could not be asked to try and put together a decent outfit- but I would greatly value any thoughts or suggestions for what you think might go well with it.
Lynne was a pleasure to work with and she turned out a lovely product.
