I hardly know where to begin on all this...
1. I found this site through the statistics program at my weblog. I only just discovered it, but given the bad reception I've gotten here so far, I'm not sure how long I'll want to stick around.
2. I didn't mean to offend anyone by saying, "As always, gay men are the early-adopters of the fashion world--and the first of the fashion victims." I had no idea it would piss you people off, really.
3. Of course the Scots have been wearing kilts forever... I mean, duh. Yeah. But if you had been to any gay events lately, you would see how popular kilts are there. Like it or not, kilts are a lot bigger among gay guys than in the general population of straight guys, and I know enough of each to be really sure about this. When was the last time, at a non-Scottish formal-dress event, that you could see at least six or eight guys out of a hundred wearking kilts? The ONLY time I've seen it has been among gay guys.
4. No, I'm not trying to "claim" kilts for gay guys. In fact, I wish it weren't that way. I'm just observing something I've noticed, and if you don't like it... well, sorry.
5. About that quote again. It's not anything against you, or against gay people, or... sheesh, anyone. I'm not even sure why you're so offended by this statement, but I swear--I don't have anything against a) straight guys b) gay guys c) any guy in an unbifurcated garment. I don't hate you guys... so why all the animosity?
6. I'm not a left-winger. I'm a libertarian. I'd rather the government would just butt out of everyone's business.
