Thank you
Good morning. I am new to this forum but old in nature. I purchase my first kilt over 50 years ago. It is a military Black Watch tartan. I later was able to pick up a military Gordon.
I do have a question: I acquired a sporran some years ago. It was made by "Wm. Jardin & Sons, Military Outfitters, Edinburgh". It has long white horse-hare with two smaller black horse-hare tassels. The cantle has the cross of St. Andrew with a rampant lion at the top of the cross. Thistles flow down each side of the cantle. There are no other markings other than what is on the leather purse above. The cantle and tassels appear to be silver. I would like help in identification. How do you post photos?
Again thank you for allowing me to join.
