My RKilt and my UK leather are smooth on the outside, rough on the inside...soft rough...think of a baseball mitt for the outside texture.

Both my leather kilts absorb the sweat. I was worried that they would stain. The UK brown leather is so dark it doesn't matter. BBQ sauce wipes off my saffron leather RKilt, even hours later. Don't think I'd care since developing a patina is part of wearing leather.

Yes, I know this was Ham's question...just thought I did more sweating than he does down here in the high desert canyonlands of Arizona.
