First of all, Welcome aboard! I've only been wearing my kilts for a few months and I'm 44.

I've got three Stillwaters that I wear, and I think they're really nice, especially for the price. I don't have a traditional yet, so I can't make any comparisons to that, nor do I have a Sportkilt.

The Stillwater kilts are really good for the person wanting a traditional look for a low price, and also a quick delivery. Someone who is knowledgable will be able to tell the difference, but most people can't. They can be a bit warm at higher temperatures, but they are pretty comfortable to wear. I've worn mine for hiking, festivals, and even to the office a few times.
