I already have a brown belt which is single pronged etc. A casual belt. Having said that, I'm not looking for something solely for formal wear.
The buckles I was favouring were the grey Inverurie buckle and the round celtic knot buckle.
In my mind, and this is also just my own imagination, I know nothing on the history of belts and buckles. It occurs to me that clasps and buckles of all kinds were used historically. I like the style of those buckles, and wouldn't mind having and wearing one.
Your point is taken, though, I'd probably only wear such when I'd dressed up a bit. Not formal per-se - but a nice shirt, hose, flashes etc - as opposed to regular socks, a more casual shirt or whatever. I just like to look GOOD from time to time!
Any other recommendations? I like things that are a bit unique.
Any comments on the pin Hamish?
