Just don't wear the "culloden" shirt with a jacket. Not a good look. A regular dress shirt and tie will look much better.
In terms od hose, they may look good if they too are an oatmel colour, or the whole look may also look good with a pair of Lovat coloured hose, depending on the tartan.
