New Twist on the Old Bagpipe Question
So I'm at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon today in my new 16 oz Strome Macdonald of Kingsburgh tartan from Kathy's Kilts. A park ranger comes up to me and asks, "Do you play the bagpipes?"
I respond politely that no, haven't learned yet...and he says he was hoping I did since they love to have pipers pipe the sun down in the evening standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon. He was hoping to recruit me.
So if any pipers out there ever wanna pipe the sun down from the edge of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon you'll be most welcome.
Was a sunny, but windy day. Had more fun on the walk to the viewpoint when a passing lady (with her husband) asked, " Is it windy up there?" meaning up my kilt. Smiled and told her yes it was, but I loved it...could hear her laughing for quite a ways.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
