You know me well, Rob, but not as well as you think! Even your guidelines are beyond me, I'm afraid. I have no idea what "web browser windows" and an "explorer window" are, and as for opening and closing them, well........!

I wish you would, Rob! I do know how to defragment my hard disk though and did it just after Easter, and I did help my neighbour to log back on-line yesterday - she's been unable to for several weeks and we found she had 587 E-mails waiting! So I am not a complete ninckenpoop and am always up for learning new tricks!!
