Greetings from Pullman, Washington. I haven't been able to visit xmarks for some time now, but now that my first semester of grad school has finished, I'm glad to come back and see that all is still well. I'm sure that I've missed quite a bit, but I'm glad to see that membership has risen to over 1000.

The kilt has gone over fairly well here in Eastern Washington. Mostly I get looks, but rarely does anyone get confrontational or rude. The kilt has gone over very well at football games with a number of women giving me quite complimentary comments. Faculty and students alike seem to have warmed to the kilt over the past few months. I'm sure more stories will come to mind as I am trying (I'm sure in vain) to scan through all the messages that I've missed. It's good to be back, and Merry Christmas.
