For good reason: it's worth its weight in gold! Regardless of how much weight I lose I think my thighs will always like each other so chafing is a big concern when kilted. BodyGlide eliminated the chafing problem. That's why a tube now merits sporran space. Truly a 'don't leave home without it' product. And I have not seen any residue problems with my kilts. If you have an Eastern Mountain Sports or similar outfit in your vicinity, they probably stock it in their cycling and/or hiking sections.
