How big is it?
Got your attention? he he...
I'm very much a hands on person, and I don't usually like to give someone money for something I can do myself. That being said, I have designed a pattern for a sporran. I plan to produce a couple sporrans for myself. At some point, I'll graduate to making something from leather.
Anyway... the number one question I have, before I put needle to fabric. How thick (meaning from you body to the face of the sporran) is a typical sporran? I made a mock up that was 6cm thick. The bride says it's too thick. I cut it down to 3cm thick... looks decent, but I don't wanna stitch anything until I have some practical knowledge.
Anyone?
