As some Japanese love to wear trad hiking gear and pretend they are hiking through the Swiss Alps in their Argyle hose & wool knickerbockers . I bought a pair of this hose quite a while back and the hose I purchased from my local outdoor shop come up over my knee but I've since found out they they are available in shorter lengths & a wide range of colors. If anybody is interested in obtaining some of these , let me know I guess with postage to the US ( for example ) they would work out to be about US $ 28.00 with postage. Here is a link to the site below , I'm sorry it's in Japanese but you can see what the offer etc

My only caution on these particular hose would be that they may not match an individual's tartan -- remember that tartan hose are usually made to match the tartan of your kilt.
