Received my new SWK Heavyweight Saffron last night.

It's my first SWK. I read a lot of good things about SWK and I really liked the color on their website. I'm glad to say the quality is all that one could ask for in this fairly inexpensive kilt. Weighs just over 4 pounds (about 1.9 kilos).

The color is a bit darker than I expected from the description Saffron, more brown, but in certain light it looks a lot like suede.

I got it partly because I thought it would go well with green, as in casual green shirts and maybe a future lovat green tweed Argyll jacket. For these first pics (at the link at the bottom) I used a black sporran and belt, but I may later get brown. I think I would like to have bottle green kilt hose rather than the lovat green I'm wearing. All that will come in time, I suppose.

Put a couple of pics of my cat Toni. She likes a man in kilts! It makes a great place to take a nap.
