as for frames..it is more about perception than anything else. Frames are generally associated with "newbie" websites, because they are easy to use and quitck to set up. A vast majority of professional developers will say stay away from frames, not jsut because they are very basic, but because they can change the way your site looks on different resolution screeens.
as for the e-mail, it is mostly a precaution.
the ads are because the site is hosted free at godaddy.com. If the site is fairly small, send me a pm...I may have a solution for you...
Also, using frames prevents people from bookmarking individual pages.
Check my website to see a nav bar that sticks without using frames. Works in Firefox, not in IE. (I really need to update it, I think I come across as a bit of an arrogant jerk, which I am not)
