Kilt No.61 has arrived!
Yes, as expected and right on cue kilt No.61 was delivered yesterday morning. I have not yet had a chance to wear it, other than for the obligatory(hastily organised) photo-shoot, so I cannot give a full critique - that will follow in the appropriate section within a day or two. "What section is that?" I hear you ask. Why, the 'USA Kilts' section, of course - yes, my very first USA Kilt was brought to my door by a smiling postman who simply said, "Here is another one for you!".
I don't know if the smile was because he instinctively knew there was a kilt in the brown box he was handing over, or whether it was because he had looked at the US Customs Declaration form which described the contents of the box as a "skirt"!!! Actually, I think that was part of Rocky's helpful action in aiding me to avoid paying UK import duty and VAT - he had added that it was my property being returned to me following alteration. I am SO grateful Rocky. We read how Robin was fleeced by the Dutch authorities when importing a kilt from the USA, well the same can and does happen here; we are in the same European Union after all!
What kilt was it? Ah, it was one of Rocky's finest - a semi-traditional in Ireland's National tartan. I'll be wearing it tomorrow (Thursday) and will report later. Meanwhile, here are a couple of pics. from the first photo-shoot:

(Sorry, I have no idea why the second photo is so small!!)
