No, no, no...I remembered this once I clicked the link because I read the Irish Voice. The USA (Ulster Scots Agency) has been in hot water for several years now and their activities (here and abroad) have been under heavy scrutiny. Lord Laird's fears aren't entirely unfounded (because of the USA's troubles) but I highly doubt that it has anything at all to do with wearing a kilt.
Wear your kilt in Dublin town; you won't regret it.
