I don't have any of the hose from USAK. I wanted to order some with my order on Friday. But, I was already pushing it with the wife... So, I figured I'd consider myself lucky with the kilt and tartan flashes. But, as far as the hose, I wouldn't worry about them not staying up. They've got elastic in the blend, so you'll be ok without garters I'm certain.

I've been eyeing a brown Rob Roy leather sporran over at SWK. They're very sharp. I have one of the Nightstalker nylon sporrans you mentioned. I love it. True, you wouldn't want to wear it semi/formal. But, as far as an actual practical daily sporran, you couldn't ask for more. I'm sure you'll be very happy with the Rob Roy. THey look awful roomy.

Also, one of our moderators "Freelander Sporrano" makes some amazing leather sporrans as well.
