Like I said, they look OK.
A good wool still looks better and is better in more weather conditions, ESPECIALLY in formal and "coat and tie" situations (and will last longer, IF THOSE HATED MOTHS DON'T GET THEM!!!!).
BUT, these are easily washable for times than one would need a machine washable or "disposable" sock for the kilt. It is a cheap alternative for those who need/want "proper" looking kilt hose, but lack the budget/justification/source/etc for the nice $20-$80+ ones.
