As another eagle scout ( Troop 32 - Marion, MA) I've seen scant few kilted scouts, other than at the 1989 National Jamboree. Unfortunatly, I have no idea what the tartans I saw were, although there were several to be found.
As far as what is allowed now, I've worn my kilt to every scout function I've been to since I've had a kilt, and have had no opposition from the local council.
