I few years ago, I started, by accident, a little group called the Prick'd Finger Society. Basically, our motto is if you haven't bled you aren't done sewing (our blood sacrifice to the sewing gods, I guess). Last I looked, there was over 70 members, and we even had pins....a band-aid. Yup, we had way too much time on our hands
