Overcrowding, oppressive summer weather and the whole place is flat and barely above sea level. You could not pay me enough money to live there.

Overcrowding: depends on exactly where. There are many areas that are still very undeveloped.

Opressive summer weather: Nice and hot, perfect for sunning, sailing, boating and fishing. Nothing like an ice cold beer on a hot summer day.

Flat and barely above sea level: true, some areas, particularly on the sea-side of 17 are, however the marshlands are beautiful filled with wildlife that is rarely seen in other areas.


Least we forget the gnats. Oh those are a protected species. We keep them around to keep the yankees out. (please not above post, it doesn't always work but some of us learn to adapt to the culture better than others)
