Now this actually makes sense. At our kilt night last thursday it was -20C (-4F) I was going outside for my smokes in my wool swk, hose and sweater. My knees felt a bit of a chill but all the other smokers were shivering, not me. At work I wear jeans and outside my whole lower body is cold. Thin cotton denim is no match to the cold and wind as compared to two & three thicknesses of wool.
