Gentlemen and Ladies,

I've seen more than a few threads about the joys of Single Malts but was wondering about Cigars.

I smoke one or two a month casually and enjoy them quite a bit. I will never make it a daily habit as I saw what pipes did to my father. I was just looking for some recommendations for my next trip to the shop this weekend. I tend to like the darker, more full bodied cigars. In the mainstream $5-$6 range I like the Macanudo Maduros and the Onyx Reserves. My all time favorite was a Padron 1964 Anniversary that is not always easy to find and is more like $12 when I can find it. It still was very smooth and tasty. I've tried some of the mainline Padrons and was disappointed by the "chocolatey" taste to it. I've tried some of the darker Punch and C.A.O. cigars and while they were OK I wanted to get back to the Macanudos or Onyx.

I guess I'm just looking for ideas when I go this weekend. And yes, I have a very good store nearby and the owner is great about reccomendations. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful.

Thanks in advance.
