I've avoided purchasing a UK because I'm in between sizes, and I didn't think UKs adjusted that much. Do I order size 36, 35 or 34? How much adjustment up or down do they have? Well yesterday, I decided to try a 35" black, and went to order one. Out of stock, but they'll let me know when they have one.
For none-freezing-weather casual wear, my four SKs are great. One is cotton twill, and I'd like to compare it with a UK original for daily "muckin' about". As people here have also said, I'm not going to wear a $700 CDN kilt around town for daily wear.... it's my "formal" wear kilt for special functions/events.
My SWK standard is fine, but a little coarser material and heavier than the poly/vis SKs.
