I'm glad it worked so well! It looks great on you...
I've made a few of these for myself as for daily wear I prefer about a TRUE 1 3/4"-2" belt (not one that is made for a 1 3/4 inch buckle which is a bit narrower, like dimensional lumber.) It gets dicey if you are trying to shave off just a hair but if you are starting from scratch or taking at least 1/8" inch or so off each side it works well.
